OVERVIEW

The Facility Makerspace presents a public session with ALCHEMY MOTO. In this 2-hour hands-on workshop you will learn how to inspect your wheels and tires for safety, pull and remount your wheels, and best practices for fixes in the field.

After a short classroom introduction, this orientation moves to the shop where your instructor will explain essential equipment, familiarize you with specific terminology, and demonstrate effective procedures. You will develop a working understanding of the benefits and limitations of working on your own wheels and tires. Your instructor will cover best practices, so you get your work done like a pro. Along the way you will gain the knowledge and confidence to work on your bike safely and troubleshoot typical issues.

Workshops start promptly at 2.00p.

This workshop prepares you to safely perform basic operations on your wheels and tires. Two hours won’t turn you into a mechanic, but you will gain the skill and confidence you need to keep your motorcycle rolling safely. You will also be better prepared to decide when a certified mechanic is necessary.
