3D Printer // Ultimaker S5
$10/hour
Suitable for Beginner to Advanced Users
Our industry grade Ultimaker S5 Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) printer is great for complicated prototypes where you have long overhangs or island layers that need to be printed against an easily removable support structure.
Our Ultimakers have the capacity to print two materials for powerful, reliable, and versatile 3D printing. Your models can output to over 200 materials (check availability) including metal and composites. Use water soluble supports to create intricate print-in-place parts with bridging, overhangs, and clear b-sides. This also opens up the ability to design moving assemblies with smooth inter-operable parts. When the print is done just pop your model off its base and drop it in water. Overnight the soluble support dissolves away leaving clean smooth prototypes. No more hours lost and finishes marred by tedious support removal.
With a generous print volume (13”x9.5”x11.8”), adjustable layer thickness down to 20 microns, automated leveling and hot end cleaning, and straightforward software you’ll be pumping out parts in no time. ABS, PLA, and water soluble PVA filaments are included in your reservation price. Use of other Ultimaker supported filaments is available with a material fee. Let us know if you’re interested. We typically keep one color of filament open at any given time.
