Ready for some high-flying fun? Join us for Drone Mario Kart Day!
This event adds an exciting twist to the classic game with our specially designed caged drones equipped with a thumbtack. Each drone will have a balloon attached, and the challenge is simple: pop your opponent’s balloon before they pop yours! It’s a fast-paced, action-packed game filled with strategy, skill, and plenty of laughs.
Who Can Join?
This event is open to all skill levels! Whether you’re a seasoned pilot or a beginner, you’ll have a blast! Our team will provide a quick orientation for new pilots to ensure everyone can join in on the fun.
What You’ll Need
Equipment: No equipment is necessary! We’ll supply the drones, controllers, and everything you need to get started.
Skills You’ll Hone
- Precision Flying: Learn how to control a drone with finesse as you maneuver through aerial dogfights.
- Quick Decision-Making: Practice reacting fast under pressure while keeping an eye on your opponents.
- Team Strategy: Team up with others and strategize to become the ultimate drone champion!
Ready to test your skills? Mark your calendars and bring your A-game. We can’t wait to see who comes out on top in this drone-based battle of wits and skill!
Flight Club is a meetup devoted to the future of flight and learning together. Our meetup events include time for Show & Tell of your projects as well as ongoing exploration of upcoming classes, projects, and events. There will be time for discussion about your goals for moving forward. We expect our initial projects to include group builds of inexpensive flight ready fixed wing aircraft and/or multirotor drones as well as build days to work on your individual projects in a collaborative setting. When the weather improves look forward to flight events where we’ll get out of the shop and into the sky … followed by fix-it clinics to put your drones back together.
Over time you will gain the knowledge to step up to increasingly demanding builds. We’ll support you with access to equipment and supplies as well as the growing knowledge you need to push forward.
Bring your questions and be prepared for an informative experience as we dive into the future together. Note that, eventually, our intent is to offer FLIGHT CLUB memberships. We are currently offering meetups at no charge.

This study deepened an enduring conviction that solving problems and making things is deeply coded into our humanity. Over the last few years he has explored the transformation of our economy as new technologies democratize opportunity. He now runs The Facility Makerspace where ordinary people with extraordinary ideas gain access to an 11,000sf sandbox for innovation with all the tools, training, and community you need to turn thoughts into things.
